The Sorceress is a step up in terms of songwriting and sound production. Andy has used some guitar effects to create a synth pad like sound during the intro. During the chorus there is even an acoustic guitar which contrasts with the loud distorted tones heard in the rest of the song.

"I have learned something new from each song.I feel that The Sorceress is my heaviest both in terms of sound and lyrical subject matter."

The Sorceress is a metaphor for addiction.

"I don't think anyone ever intends to get hooked on anything but sometimes people self medicate to get themselves through difficult times. The Sorceress as a song is saying that there is a way out and if a person can sever their reliance on whatever they are addicted to, then life can be good again."
